(Guitar out of tune…) This right here? Out. Of. Tune. Sounds close… but close ain’t performance-ready.

You can get away with this in the woodshed — maybe — but don’t you DARE step on that stage ‘all off key!’ Play out of tune long enough and you’ll start thinking “off” is “okay.”

You know what’s wild? Our soul can be just like this… Almost right… but still not quite in tune.

Proverbs 2:2 in The Message Version says: Tune your ears to the world of Wisdom; set your heart on a life of Understanding.

Not just hear wisdom — tune to it.

Jesus criticized religious folks who were forever hearing but never ‘tuning’ or understanding truth. Tuning is intentional attention. Not casual listening — conscious listening.

That’s calibration language. Frequency language. Alignment language.

You don’t stumble into harmony. You tune into it.

(tighten a peg — clean chord) There it is.

Tuning & Toning

Tuning and toning — both take tension. One sharpens the sound. The other strengthens the soul.

Tuning is tension. Stretch, tighten, adjust, listen. Repeat.

Sometimes God isn’t absent — you just haven’t dialed in yet.

Wisdom is broadcasting. You might just be on airplane mode.

Paul called it “the manifold wisdom of God” (Eph. 3:10) Manifold = many folds. Layered. Dimensional. A world of wisdom — not a motivational soundbite.

Most people never explore that world because they move too fast to tune.

Setting & Solving

Ears tune. Hearts set.

Tuning corrects. Setting commits.

Tuning finds the pitch. Setting holds the pitch.

Jesus didn’t just say “hear.” He said, “Set your heart” — plant it, aim it, lock it in.

Tuning is precision. Setting is posture. Tuning adjusts the sound. Setting aligns the soul.

One tunes the signal. The other locks the station.

Your ear is the dial… Your heart is the anchor.

Set it right — and suddenly solutions show up. Because when the heart is set, life starts solving.

Questing to Strike the Right Tune

When did you last pause long enough to tune your soul? What noise keeps dragging you off frequency? Where is your heart still drifting instead of being set?

Remember

You are not too late to align. Wisdom never stopped broadcasting. Heaven is live streaming — dial in.

Prayer

Lord, tune my ears to hear, and anchor my heart to stay.

Today’s Challenge

Tune up today:

Turn down one noise. Open one scripture. Pause long enough to hear. Tune your ear — set your heart.

Harmony starts small.
