Self-talk, otherwise known as internal dialogue, is the constant background chatter that hums away in our minds as we go through life. Self-talk isn’t always kind. At times it can be downright insulting and rude. What do each of the Pieces to Wellness trio do to manage their self-talk as well as external conversations with others?
Words have power and each one of us has control over what words we choose to use, both with others and with ourselves. Some words have the power to heal. Appreciate, trust, and authenticity are a few of our favorite words. What are your favorite words? What words do you find to be hurtful? Let us know!
