The ghosts of 1996 & 1990 can finally be put to rest after England overcame Germany in a knockout game for the first time since 1996.

A brilliant England performance was capped off by a two well-worked goals that were finished by Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane.

The result sends England into the Quarter-Final's where they will play Ukraine, but that's only half the story as the The Three Lions have a clear path to the final. Anything other than an appearance in the final is unacceptable at this stage.
