In “Turn to God with Carin,” Carin Jayne Casey, Author of MY DEAR ROSA JEAN, addressed Chapter 2 in her once-a-month class series about this story of a woman's life of domestic violence, and pathways to overcoming domestic violence. She briefly re-visited what was covered in Episode #23 on February 6th. In Chapter 2, Brad surprised Rosa Jean by showing up at her workplace (they had two prior dates). Female workers/peers influenced her renewed view of him as ‘tall, dark & handsome.’ Their relationship advanced sexually before Rosa Jean was ready, and she allowed an unplanned sleepover.
Thought-provoking questions posed: breached boundaries and potential ‘red flags’ vs. not real issues and dangers? Would’ve Turning to God have influenced Rosa Jean’s choices/ actions and vulnerability?
