Traditional Chinese people use the zodiac as a calendar calculation method, every 12 years is a cycle. They are rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, pig, these 12 animals.

The work "1300 Fine Porcelain" was specially selected by the creator designed by the native Taiwanese buffalo that best represents the spirit of the Taiwanese. The symbolic meaning of the Taiwan buffalo is diligence, optimism, down-to-earth, and not afraid of hardship. The plump body of the water buffalo also represents the adequate food and clothing in Taiwan.

The creator also added a pair of upward wings to the water buffalo. The flying wings carry dreams, flying higher and farther.

The body supporting the buffalo is a circle. The circle represents completion, which can be the beginning, the end, the cycle, or the endless.
