In the last few hours, the Holy Spirit addressed my pride. It was a healthy slap to receive and shook me right awake.

But He pulled me close and whispered lovingly, saying;

Pride causes you to have blind spots. Pride blinds you to other people's vivid observations of all that you are, do and sometimes even think. Pride goes before a fall.

Pride causes you to mock love and take it for granted. God is love...Pride causes you to mock God. The fool says in His heart there is no God. Pride makes you foolish. Pride makes you fall. But God's grace remains sufficient through it all.

It is pride that makes you quickly take offense when you are attacked or oppressed.

You must learn to see situations such as these as opportunities to serve as bait for the kingdom of Heaven. For when they expect to find you at their mercy, they will be met with the light of my love and the darkness inside of them must flee.

Continue to pray for your enemies and bless them. Pray that their eyes open and they see the error in the choice of god they serve because it is not my will that they perish .

If you truly believe in my love, you will not be afraid. You would focus on me completely and trust that nothing and no one can harm you.

Believe in God, trust in Jesus and you will never be ashamed."
