Moni Jefferson had been a stay-at-home mother for 12 years before deciding to apply her abilities and knowledge in the workforce into her own business.  When she requested resources on at the military base, she was informed that the services she was seeking did not exist.   This left her feeling powerless and served as the impetus for her to launch what is now  known as the Association of Military Spouse Entrepreneurs.  AMSE, as it is known,  assists military spouses in launching, expanding, and maintaining their enterprises.
