Today is my birthday and today I publicly confess my habit to be critical and seek perfection in everyone but myself. Instead of this being a wishlist of things I want for my birthday, this is a confession of things I want to get rid of.  Imagine a white printer paper on my refrigerator door with my name on it and somewhere it says, "Danielle’s birthday confession and repentance."

I hope to trade criticism for grace
Perfection for forgiveness and mercy
and more love, more love, more love!

1.) I know that being more admittant of my shortcomings will allow me to truly see the grace I need on a regular basis and then, extend to others
2.) Practicing Forgiveness
3.) Practicing Confession
