Labeled the “Funniest Hawaiian on Earth” by L.A. Weekly, Patrick Leborio has made people laugh across all continents for the last 30 years through Stand-Up, T.V., and the Big Screen. But life hasn’t always been a laughing matter for Patrick. At 14, Patrick found himself addicted to drugs and alcohol. An addiction that would last well over a decade until one day, he woke up out of money, out of friends, and completely at rock bottom. Knowing he needed to make a change, or he wouldn’t live much longer, out of desperation, Patrick went with another comedian friend to a meeting and has been sober ever since. Now 21 years sober and the co-founder of LAFFBIG, Patrick spends his days working with others, trying to fight their addictions and find sobriety. He has traded in his addictions for a love of long-distance hiking, boogie boarding, and spending time with family and his girlfriend, Rebecca. He is also currently writing a book/manual on breath works. Listen in as Patrick and I discuss how hitting rock bottom saved his life, his passion for helping others fight addiction through laughter, and what led him to find his way to FEARLESS HAPPYNESS!
