We begin our journey to Resurrection Sunday (April 5) by asking the simple question, "Why?" Why do we need a savior? Why must it be God incarnate? From what are we saved? Paul talks about this in his letter to the Roman church, and we are going to take a look and discern the answers for ourselves as learn, grow, and become the disciples of Christ that we are meant to be. I pray that this both challenges and strengthens you - Keep Looking Up!

Good Morning - Good Morning my brothers and my sisters and welcome to Turning On the Lights! for Thursday January 29, 2026. We have been exploring the fruit of our salvation through the Book of James, but today we veer off and explore the same concept as Jesus teaches it through his interaction with the rich young man in Matthew chapter 19. We may be able to "behave" well without the inspiration of God's Holy Spirit, but we are not able to enter the Kingdom of God lest we rid ourselves of every idol, repent, and turn to Him. We learn this through this story. I pray that it is something that we take to heart. It is Thursday but Sunday is coming!We will see you in church!
