It's election time - and Curtin University students have something to say. We talk to a select group of students to get their views on the election and this episode, we're joined by Paris McNeil. As a law student, Paris is extremely interested in the election and outcome. She's particularly interested in the economic promises of the parties, and has already cast her postal vote. She encourages students, even those who are not interested in politics, to at least learn a little bit about a candidates policies. While campaign ads have always been a part of the election campaign, she says they're often filled with inaccurate sentiments with the media playing it up. She says you should get to know who is running in your electorate and see what they can do for your local community. Don't forget to vote May 21st and let's dive right into the podcast!
