Prof. Karen Adams is an academic loyal to university of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She has received all her education in Ann Arbor at University of Michigan.
Prof. Adams is a director of graduate studies in the Department of English. Her interests are in the study of language in its social and linguistic context. She has authored and co-authored articles many articles in peer-reviewed journals. She has been granted many awards for distinguished work in academia and outside academia.
Also, most importantly, she has been my GREAT mentor during my Fulbright scientific journey to Arizona State University. So, I can’t ask for better mentor. I had the best!

Turning point moment was When I asked Prof. Adams about challenges:
→Question: In challenging situations, such as failing a course, losing a job, or not completing a degree, what should one do?
→Answer: The world provides many opportunities if you seek them out.
It is worth mentioning that a verse from Qur'an telling us to seek opportunities. The verse: (And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- (39) And that his striving shall soon be seen- (40) Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- (41). Sura 53: AN-NAJM, Holy Qur’an.

الأستاذ الدكتور كارين آدامز هي أكاديمية مخلصة لجامعة ميشيغان في مدينة آن أربور. تلقت كل تعليمها في آن أربور في جامعة ميشيغان.
بروف آدامز هي مديرة الدراسات العليا في قسم اللغة الإنجليزية ، من اهتماماتها هي دراسة اللغة في سياقها الاجتماعي واللغوي ولديها العديد من المشاركات في التأليف ومراجعة العديد من المقالات في مجلات محكمة. وقد حصلت على العديد من الجوائز لعملها المتميز في الأوساط الأكاديمية وخارجها.
وأهم ما في الأمر أنها كانت مرشدتي العظيمة خلال رحلتي العلمية في بعثات فولبرايت الأمريكية إلى جامعة ولاية أريزونا، لذا لا يمكنني أن أطلب مُرشدًا أفضل، لقد حظيتُ بالأفضل بالفعل !
