May is Lyme Awareness month and today’s “Turning the Mic On To” episode hits close to home because Lauren has Chronic Lyme Disease herself. She opens up and shares her journey with having a chronic illness. Her mom, Tanna, joins us as well. Although they are not experts, they share some of the things they’ve learned in hopes of helping others who may be struggling with something similar. Also in this episode, we give ideas on how to support those in your life who cope with chronic illnesses, as well as encouragement for other chronic warriors. We hope this reaches those who really need to hear it. That’s what this segment is all about.
Here are some links if you’d like to learn more about Lyme Disease or make a donation towards Lyme research :)
