Turns out our dogs really are judging us, "in ways that are more nuanced than we might expect" says  Zachary Silver, a PhD candidate in the developmental psychology department at Yale University's Canine Cognition Center. He studies how dogs view the social world and, essentially, how dogs think. We chat about his research, the creative way he conducts his studies, and even a little bit about a sweet sneaky dog named Winston.
