Where is our world heading in 2026? Will a lasting peace come to the Middle East? Or will it, along with the rest of the world, be plunged into a holocaust beyond anyone’s imagination? No one can tell the future for any one of us in precise detail. We may plan our lives, but the unexpected not only can happen, it often does. Yet, there are some things we can count on and plan for.

Do you realize that about 30 percent of the Bible is devoted to prophecy? And based on past history, if the Bible says it is going to happen, it will!

Do an Internet search and ask, “How did life begin on earth?” and you’ll find articles and videos pointing to some kind of evolutionary explanation. One honest NASA scientist in a video on the subject begins and ends with, “We just don’t know.” Yet, he is clearly looking for a naturalistic (evolutionary) explanation.

Consider that there are only three fundamental hypotheses for life existing on planet Earth:

1) Life was transported to Earth (Panspermia).

2) All life evolved from non-living matter.

3) An intelligent being (God) created life.

Which is correct? Can you know? While there is much about life that we do not know, the answer of how life began, can be known. Many people believe prayer is important—and they’re right! But for someone new to prayer, it can be hard to know how to start or what to say. And if we are honest, even those of us who are more experienced can sometimes struggle.

Military preparedness declined, but the United States still carried the load to protect the continent.

While American presidents failed in pressuring NATO nations to pay their agreed upon two percent of GDP on military spending, Russian President Vladimir Putin, by invading Ukraine, managed to accomplish that goal overnight. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz gave his famous Zeitenwende speech, meaning a turning point, on February 27, 2022 – a mere three days after the invasion. Germany was not alone among NATO nation voices announcing increases in military spending. And this is not the whole story, as we see a massive arms buildup around the world.

Stuart Wachowicz - TVCA1410 - Church buildings come in all shapes and sizes. Some are very small, humble structures, while others are massive, elaborate edifices which required years to build. Yet, even more varied than the size and architecture of their facades are the customs, ways of worship, and beliefs that they represent. Why? If all identify as Christian and supposedly have a common text, the Bible, as their foundational text. Which of these churches would the original apostles attend if they were alive today? Do these churches all represent the original doctrines of the Church? They cannot all be correct.
