Hello Everyone, in this episode of Paranoid in My Paradise @saimfarooqui @brooklynletson @jeremyritchie share a conversation with @ayo.peluola about the challenges some may endure when facing depression. We specifically touch on depression in Athletes as Ayo is part of the Huskies Wrestling team and has wrestled for more than 8 years. We talk about what it means to be a leader/role model, how to lead by example, especially in the mental health community. We touch on the importance of ending the stigma around mental health, how to identify whether someone may be struggling and not getting the proper help they need, things to be aware of when helping others with depression/anxiety. We share tips and sidenotes on how to reduce major anxiety and how not to spiral during the moment. We discuss this audience comment "sometimes you do everything for the friendship yet you get betrayed and it's painful". Join us on today's episode #notalone.
