  • Pilot-less taxis: If you head to Dubai this summer, you could be one of the few people to actually try out a flying pilot-less taxi. The 184 has one passenger, eight propellers, four arms and NO pilot. Would you be willing to go for a ride?

  • Amazon parachute packages: It's no secret that Amazon is determined to make drone delivery a reality. However there are a myriad of logistical problems standing in the way. They have now patented a parachute delivery system, as a means to get a package into your hands.

  • Golden drone defense: We've heard of a few countries deploying eagles as a means of defense against drones and now France has joined. They will have a team of Golden Eagles to deploy at military bases, airports and large events. Should the US start training birds of prey for the same purpose?

  • Boring Company: Elon Musk posted on Twitter in December that he was tired of sitting in traffic and said he wanted to bore a hole under the freeways to alleviate it. It looks like he was serious, because he is now drilling test holes in the SpaceX parking lot!

  • Lab Grown Meat: The promise of animal-free meat products may now be one step closer to reality. Using a process involving stem cells from pigs, Dr. Nicholas Genovese co-authored a paper detailing the specifics. Would you be ready to eat meat, grown from stem cells?

  • Walking and texting: As long as texting as been around, people have been walking in to things. A firm called HIG Traffic Systems has developed a system to show traffic lights on the ground, in order to alert people on their phones. Do you think you'd benefit from this system, or should we just let Darwinism run it's course?
