Our latest weekly episode of Trends with Benefits features Jeremy Kaplan, Rick Stella, Ryan Waniata and Greg Nibler.

  • Samsung Galaxy S8 rumors: With the March 29th release of Samsung's flagship phone on the way, we cover some of the confirmed aspects and a bunch of the rumors surrounding the device. From new facial recognition technology, to the inclusion of the AI assistant Bixby, there is a lot to talk about.

  • Samsung and Apple phone docks: There are pair of US Patent documents released this week, detailing both Samung and Apple's apparent attempts to create a docking station for their mobile devices. Is this the first step to an all-inclusive, everything-device, which would take the place of a standard desktop computer?

  • Will ISPs be able to sell your browser history?: The FCC is attempting to repeal a current law which bans the practice of your ISP selling your browsing data to 3rd party companies. If it passes, your history, financial data, health data and even your locations could be up for grabs to those willing to pay for it, without your consent.

  • Advancements in Prosethetics: A company called Northwell Health has developed an incredible prosthetic leg, that is designed to actually propel the wearer through water. Advancements like these give a lot of hope for more “real-like” artificial limbs being available in the future.

  • Pong table game: One of the first video games ever, Pong, is not being turned into a physical adaptation that can be used as a coffee table and much more. The mechanics behind actually making it work are fascinating. The bottom line: we need a demo version!
