As we have learned previously. To begin, I can declare the Waterfall is where I want to live my life. I can repent of when I have acted as God in my life. I can come through the Cross of Jesus Christ into the Father’s presence. There, I can choose to trust Him for every area of my life. TRUST IS DECISION NOT A FEELING.
It may help to visualise putting your bucket down the well, then in repentance (which means a change of direction) discarding it, stepping through the Cross and lifting your arms to receive the water of life as the torrent of love from the Father’s heart and the flow of the Spirit connect you to the mind of God.
The Waterfall is only ever a step away. Repeat the process whenever you are aware that you are driving your life and give the control back to God. To begin with, you will find you grab back control and need to repent many times a day. This is because you have had to survive in the fallen world and you are used to manipulating the world to be safe or for your advantage to fulfil your own agenda. Gradually, you will recognise the difference of being in God’s presence or out of it.
BEHIND ALL THE PURPOSES OF GOD THERE IS LOVE DRAWING US HOME
The Waterfall Journey is the Father's heart to bring us into the living, vibrant relationship He always intended for us. We can be restored, renewed and live in all the fullness that Jesus died to give us. Leading and guiding us on this journey back to the heart of God is the Holy Spirit's ministry, our part is being willing to travel and accept God's invitation to join Him in His story.
