"Palm Sunday." Why do we tell this story?

Matthew’s story this year, to be exact,

Matthew 21.

No palms, no stones crying out,

Just a procession, and some questions.

Maybe we know this by now,

That this thing we call Palm Sunday

Is actually a protest

A counter-demonstration.

But...why do we tell this story?
