This week we discuss journalists' efforts to unionize, multiple logics of practitioner organizing, and the contrasting responses of The New York Times and The Atlantic to the unionization efforts. But first, I recently spoke with Dr. Daniel Ramirez, Postdoctoral Researcher at the Spanish National Research Council, about his recent paper titled "The Long Arm of Conflict: How Timing Shapes the Impact of Childhood Exposure to War." The paper is to be published in Demography, and is co-authored by Steven Haas.
