Though they all have their own storylines, they are all in their element as characters. Glen is the quintessential modern American cowboy—charming and brash, but serious when the going gets tough. Daisy, who plays Kate and receives a lot of screen time, is the focal point of the movie and a real star. She adopts the perspective of a survivor attempting to confront the issue head-on in order to get over her worries. On screen, these two actors have a fantastic chemistry as they develop a competition that eventually turns into a friendship and maybe more. The ensemble of supporting actors, which is reminiscent of the motley crew of storm chasers in the first movie, everyone gets their moment to shine.
