The last shall be first – St. John’s defeated the No. 4 and No. 1 teams in the country in the last five days with Duke and Villanova. In this week’s BIG EAST Focus is former Wildcat head coach and current CBS Sports Network analyst Steve Lappas. Lappas was on the call as St. John’s upset Villanova in Philadelphia on Wednesday. The national perspective comes from Jon Rothstein. Rothstein gives his impressions of the parity of play in the BIG EAST as the perceived “underdogs” in the conference continue to improve and act as a threat at the top.
