Two bodies have been found in Queensland floodwaters, believed to be those of a 23-year-old woman and 26-year-old man who went missing while travelling from Brisbane to Gayndah to work on a farm. Their silver four-wheel drive was discovered submerged in a river near Kilkivan, west of Gympie, after their phones last pinged in the flood zone. Central Queensland has experienced significant flooding, with the Burnett River in Bundaberg peaking at 7.4 metres before beginning to recede, allowing some displaced residents to return home.
