Two charged over alleged mistaken kidnapping and murder
Gerard Andrews, 29, and Daniel Stevens, 24, appeared in Blacktown Local Court charged with the murder and kidnapping of 85-year-old Chris Baghsarian. The Sydney grandfather was allegedly mistakenly kidnapped from his North Ryde home, with his body found dumped near a golf course at Pitt Town 12 days later. Both men did not apply for bail and were remanded to appear before Penrith Court on 17 April.
