We may not carry pictures in our wallets much anymore, we’re more likely to have our loved ones featured on our phone’s screen, but as Pastor Bill will explain in today’s message, those pictures are not our loved ones – they’re just a representation of them. We look at them and we’re reminded of those individuals. That’s kind of what communion is for Christians. The elements aren’t Jesus – they’re just a representation of Him. While we shouldn’t worship the elements, we should certainly respect them.
