We also introduce a new intro, "Bad Takes", where we take a look back at some of our early season takes that ended up coming back to haunt us. We finish it off by talking about the incident at the PSG v Istanbul game in "From the Pitchside".

Welcome back to another episode of the Two Footed Tackle Podcast! After taking a little hiatus, James and Julio get back on the road with around the grounds stops in England, Spain, and Scotland. These past couple of weeks have seen some massive results as the high status of Europe's biggest teams is questioned in their domestic games. From the pitch side, we'll discuss why the massive Ajax win was not scrutinized the way the USWNT's win was over Thailand in the Women's World Cup, as well as talk about the chaotic nature of the MLS and all its drawbacks. Julio and James recap an absolute dumpster fire of a Premier League weekend that was capped off with a couple of last minute panic buys at the end of the transfer window. Our "Around the Grounds" segment covers the more significant Premiere League results which included wompings of Liverpool and Man United, Everton stay perfect to go top of the table, and Chelsea keep playing keeper roulette with great results this time. We also discuss the impact of young Americans playing throughout Europe and how they can succeed as well as take a look at some of the panic buys on deadline day. James and Julio recap some of the more significant results around Europe and Liga MX as league play returned for a significant portion of European leagues. This weekend saw Chelsea dealing with their same old (Kepa) issues, Bayern continue their reign, Dortmund's daycare show off some of their new talent, and we recap "El Super Clasico" from Liga MX. As well as talk about Bale's reunion with Spurs and cover other transfer news. Leave us a rating and review and thanks for listening! Music provided by: www.bensounds.com
Julio and James recap the Champions and Europa League finals and get into some more transfer talk. The Messi transfer saga swept the news for the past couple weeks which ultimately saw one of the GOATs stay at Boomerlona (copyright pending) for at least one more year. We also discuss some of the more low-key good and bad transfer windows by clubs as well as what to expect from Chelsea after a spectacular transfer window. Closed eyes, full hearts, two footed, and fully committed! Make sure to leave a rating and review! Music provided by: www.bensounds.com
James and Julio discuss the joy and heartbreak of the latter stages of both European competitions as well as talk about a relatively quiet week in the transfer market. Both competitions ended in upset for both Manchester Clubs but have set the stage for some of the biggest upsets, given the opportunity. Join us as we sulk over the Ls taken by Manchester City and United, discuss if the world would end if Messi and Ronaldo played in the same team together, and try to not mess up spelling the word "tackle." Make sure to leave a rating and review and, as always, thanks for listening! Music provided by: www.bensounds.com
Julio and James recap the 19-20 Premiere League Season as they break down top 6, mid-table, and relegated sides. Project restart came and went, and as it tore through the Premiere League some clubs used it to their advantage while others struggled to survive. Join us as we attempt to correctly pronounce managers' names as well as praise Eddie Howe and Bournemouth right as news broke of his departure as we were recording (oops).
