St. Louis closes out the season with three huge wins and a surge of scoring, giving us plenty to be excited about heading into the offseason. With three games still left to play, the final blow came from out west as the Kings’ win over the Oilers mathematically knocked St. Louis out of the race. A tough way for the season to end, especially with meaningful hockey still on the schedule.

This week was a perfect snapshot of the season: a huge statement win against Colorado, followed by a flat rematch, a frustrating loss to Winnipeg, and finally a strong bounce-back win over Chicago.

We break down the emotional rollercoaster, what ultimately cost the Blues a playoff spot, and what we still want to see from this team in the final stretch.

Episode 1.26 and the Blues are still hanging in the playoff race… but it wasn’t the strongest week. After grabbing just 3 out of 6 possible points, we’re breaking down what’s missing. It starts with consistent scoring.

The defense continues to hold steady and the goaltending is doing enough to keep them competitive, but without offensive production, it’s hard to feel confident down the stretch.
