Two Mikes - HB520 Is The Gravest Threat to America and Must be Stopped with Hank Sullivan
Mr. Hank Sullivan, a Georgia Conservative activist, joined The Two Mikes today to describe a con that is being run on the people of Georgia by their legislature.
The measure -- HB 520 -- proposes bringing mentally ill people out of their present care facilities and then seeding them into residences in local communities. This process is being done, bill HB 520 says, in the interests of better individual care and compassion. The mentally ill person would be fitted out with a wristwatch that would track him or her wherever they go. The tracking would be complemented by the use of Artificial Intelligence which could predict if the person -- if they are being treated for addiction or for being a serial law-breaker -- was getting near a site where he or she might repeat old offenses.
This sort of procedure surely seems to not only be invasive but also unconstitutional. If this isn't bad enough, it turns out that the two assemblymen who are sponsoring the legislation own the only company in the state that has the high-tech capability to gather and store the data noted above, and the equipment and tracking and AI software that is to be used, moreover, was created and manufactured in China.
The data gathered, moreover, would be whare-housed by the company and would be available to all parts of the Georgia state government. This project appears to fit the definition of a conflict of interests.
Another interesting part of the bill is that if one of the mentally ill people left the state of Georgia, and was found to be in another state, there is an agreement called the Interstate Mental Health Compact (IMHC) that would allow authorities in another state to arrest the mentally ill individual and take him back to Georgia without an extradition process.
The IMHC has been signed by 45 states, only Arizona, Virginia, District of Columbia, California, Mississippi, and Nevada have yet to sign. When they do so, all of the republic will be a happy hunting ground for Big Brother. We have asked Mr. Sullivan to return and tells us how this travesty turns out.
