Albany to Miami is 1400 miles and Albany to Oklahoma City is 1500

1453 ft at the very top of the empire state building with 102 floors

There are 5280 feet in a mile.

If a person were suddenly exposed to the atmosphere at 30,000ft without a pressurized cabin

or at least a pressure-demand oxygen mask that supplies oxygen to the lungs via high pressure,
hypoxia would set in 45 to 75 seconds, followed by unconsciousness and eventually death. Less
than 6 miles, and we are looking at 1500 miles.

62 miles also is often regarded as the boundary between atmosphere and outer space.
