Welcome to season 6 of this podcast where I am talking all about the Suit of Wands. I’ll be going through each card in the suit, one per episode.
If you haven't listened to my other seasons yet, go check them out!
The first season, I introduced tarot through talking about oracle vs tarot cards, myths of tarot, how to find a deck, reading for yourself vs others, and much more.
In seasons 2 and 3, I went through the major arcana and the four suits, one per episode.
In season 4, I talked all about Tarot in Pop Culture and examined representations of Tarot in videogames, TV shows, movies, and more.
In season 5, I went through 13 Common Tarot Spreads, what they are, how many cards, and an example of what it looks like to work through one.
Today's Tarot Pull:
The reversed 6 of Pentacles from The Sasuraibito Tarot, and what it reveals about your relationship to giving and receiving.
In this episode, we’re diving into the realm of vision, ambition, and the sacred pause before the leap. It’s time to sit with the Two of Wands.
There’s a tension here between staying in your current comfort zone (represented by one wand behind the figure in many traditional decks) and stepping into the unknown, where the other wand points. It’s a card of personal power and intention, but not yet action.
So, what must we do with this energy?
This card has always felt like a gentle nudge from the universe to pause and ask, “Where am I going, and do I truly want to go there?” It’s about clarified will, conscious expansion, and opening your heart to new ideas without abandoning the wisdom of your roots.
What we explore in this episode:
The layered symbolism of the Two of Wands (pillars, distance, dominion, desire)
What it means to stand between the known and the unknown with steady hands
And how the reversed 6 of Pentacles might be pointing us to re-evaluate our patterns of giving, receiving, and self-trust
