As reported yesterday by KDNK’s Amy Hadden Marsh, Rocky Mountain Resource Management officially submitted a proposal to expand the Limestone Quarry near Glenwood Springs. If the Bureau of Land Management considers the expansion proposal complete then it will be posted for public review and eventually a public comment period will begin under the National Environmental Policy Act. Members of the public are already talking about possible impacts of the expansion, including fourth and fifth graders
