In this final episode of Two Sisters and John, Lindsay and I sit with John 19–21 and reflect on the heart of the gospel.

We talk about Jesus willingly going to the cross as the perfect Passover Lamb, taking on our guilt and sin, and what it means that when He said, “It is finished,” He truly meant it. The resurrection reminds us that death doesn’t win — Jesus does. We also talk about Peter’s restoration and how Jesus meets us in our failures with grace, not condemnation, calling us back to Himself and still choosing to use our lives for His glory.

This conversation is really about what it looks like to have a personal relationship with Jesus — to trust Him, to follow Him, and to let go of comparison or judgment over how He’s working in someone else’s life. At the end of it all, we’re reminded of this simple call from Jesus:
 “You follow Me.”
