Jesus, just after confronting the Pharisee's understanding of what makes a person clean or unclean, does exactly the thing that would have made the Pharisees want a bath -baptism - ritual washing- in the first place- associate with Gentiles. But this is when things get weird. First, Jesus seems to not want to heal a desperate woman's daughter -v.24-30-. Second, Jesus utilizes a very strange healing technique -v.31-37-. These two strange stories of grace give us more questions than answers at first glance, but upon closer examination we will be able to say -He has done all things well.-
