Two types of Encouragers: Flexible or Structured, which are you?
The Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is an introspective self-report questionnaire indicating differing psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions.[1][2][3]
The MBTI is based on the conceptual theory proposed by Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung,[5] who had speculated that people experience the world using four principal psychological functions – sensation, intuition, feeling, and thinking – and that one of these four functions is dominant for a person most of the time.[6] The four categories are Introversion/Extraversion, Sensing/Intuition, Thinking/Feeling, Judging/Perception. Each person is said to have one preferred quality from each category, producing 16 unique types.-- Source, Wikipedia
Prospecting (P) individuals are very flexible when it comes to dealing with unexpected challenges. This flexibility helps us seize unexpected opportunities well. These personality types tend to react to their environments rather than try to control them, helping them to make their own luck in whatever the world delivers. People with this trait hold that life is full of possibilities. They are sometimes considered "provisional" in the way they interact. Everything seems optional.
Judging people think sequentially. They value order and organization. Their lives are scheduled and structured. People identifying with the Judging mindset seek closure and enjoy completing tasks. They take deadlines seriously. They work, then they play. The Judging preference does not mean judgmental. Judging refers to how a person deals with day-to-day activities. They have a strong sense of right and wrong-- they understand that rules and authority are valuable and they wouldn't often question them. They will often naturally believe that these is a "right" way to do something.
