When the things you were taught from a child like "help those in need" or when you become a parent, "I can't leave those kids by themselves" are exactly what your 6th sense is telling you NOT to do? What happens when a child shows up on your doorstep at 2AM asking to use your phone? What happens when your gut feeling tells you that "something's just not quite right with this situation". And what happens when that SAME child somehow hears those thoughts and looks up to you with piercing black eyes?
