The emotion written across the head coach’s face told the tale. This 34-31 loss in Santa Clara will stick with Dan Campbell and all members of the 2023 Detroit Lions forever. Without a doubt, these Lions were talented enough to win it all.

Campbell rolled the dice and one drop, one ball bouncing off a facemask, one fumble, one dropped touchdown later, the Lions were eliminated.
