Jay Hunter was born on March 15, 1986 to Edward and Viviana Hunter in Orange, NJ. He grew up listening to Naughty By Nature, Bone Thugs N Harmony, and The Hot Boys which inspired him to begin rapping at the young age of 7. When he reached middle school he formed a group with some friends called Block Burnaz later known as Hardwire. Hardwire later broke up but that didn't stop Jay Hunter's drive and hunger to create music he loved. He knew he could use his talent to make a better life for himself and his family. He later hooked up with his cousin T-Y and his close friend Kriziz to form Music Mafia! With the amazing chemistry between these three Jay Hunter dreams to leave his mark on the music industry by bringing Hip Hop back to its roots and making good music we all can vibe to.
