Winnipeg Transit is introducing its second zero-emissions bus (ZEB) as part of a $280 million initiative to transition from diesel vehicles, with plans for a fully electric fleet by 2045. The city is currently testing hydrogen and battery-electric buses to determine the most effective option, with the first ZEBs hitting the streets this spring and a major route overhaul coming in June.
