There’s a vast amount of information that one needs when immigrating to Canada. However, through all the information around banking, getting a job, a learning English, information on our indigenous population is light.

That’s where Jamie Banias comes in. As the Indigenous Engagement Coordinator at Immigration Partnership Winnipeg, she and others work at improving knowledge and awareness of our indigenous peoples to newcomers.
