Welcome back to Used2Sew, where it’s time to talk about rural electrification! ZZZZT! The motorization of gadgets wasn’t possible until every house could reasonably be expected to have power, though it took a while to make sure that power wasn’t more of a hazard than help. This topic is so large that we broke it into two parts; this week we talk about electricity in general, and next week we’ll get into how it relates to sewing machines in particular.
