Dr Tom Davidoff has always been outspoken on housing density and taxation, and now he’s raised the ire of homeowners who will be hit with the tax on properties worth over $3M. Years ago, Davidoff and a group of academics proposed the BC Housing Affordability Fund, calling for a 1.5% property surcharge and giving the revenue to Canadian tax filers.
