Mantis aliens are perhaps the most mysterious and unsettling of all extraterrestrial creatures. These beings appear within many abduction scenarios, with abductees reporting the ominous presence of these entities looming over their beds as they wake in the dead of night. While the Mantis is not as widely reported as the Grey or Nordic alien, it still holds an important role within many extraterrestrial contact scenarios.

Physical characteristics

By far the most striking aspect of the Mantis alien is its physical kinship with the praying mantis, the carnivorous and bipedal insect of its namesake. Many report these beings as 6-7 feet tall, with long, thin torsos. Their necks, arms and hands have additional joints. Their heads are insect-like and triangular, with large, slanted eyes of deep brown to black.

Communication Methods

Although the Mantis tend to communicate with human abductees using telepathic messages, they have been witnessed engaging one another using an auditory language. Several contactees have described the Mantis language as a series of clicking sounds exchanged between the creatures.

Common Abduction Scenario

The Mantis tend to be overseers, and often appear to be in leadership positions of power during an abduction. Generally, a Mantis will be accompanied by several small Grey aliens who seem to do its bidding. These small Greys are assumed to be drone beings, controlled by a hive mind and utilized by a variety of alien races.

Origin

Some believe these extraterrestrials come from the Draco system, working hand in hand with the Reptilians.

The US Air Force ended the two-decade-plus-long UFO investigation known as Project Blue Book 50 years ago this week, deciding that, among other things, that no sighting or evidence had managed to “represent technological developments or principles beyond the range of present-day scientific knowledge.”

If you believe that, you may not be the target audience for the National Archives’ new exhibit, which will place some of Project Blue Book’s documents on display in the Archives’ East Rotunda Gallery.

DeLonge has emerged as a somewhat unexpected expert on ufology. The Air Force still considers 701 of the sightings reported to it during the investigation as “unidentified.”

The documents will be on display from December 5, 2019, through January 8, 2020. The National Archives Museum, 701 Constitution Avenue, NW.

NASA is testing an alien-hunting, upside-down underwater rover in Antarctica. It's one of several plans to explore 2 ocean worlds for signs of life.

It's called the Buoyant Rover for Under-Ice Exploration (BRUIE). That's because, instead of relying on its weight to keep it on the ground, BRUIE relies on buoyancy to keep it afloat.

"BRUIE will carry several science instruments to measure parameters related to life, such as dissolved oxygen, water salinity, pressure and temperature,"

The rover can also power down safely and turn back on when it's time to take measurements. Klesh said that this energy-saving method would allow BRUIE to spend months exploring underwater.

With two rotating high-definition cameras, the rover can look down to the ocean floor and up at the ice above.

The team plans to keep testing and developing BRUIE until it can survive months below the ice.

"The ice shells covering these distant oceans serve as a window into the oceans below, and the chemistry of the ice could help...
