But, let’s start with the game down in Nashville on Tuesday, where the Cats defeated the Commodores by a final score of 69-53. Another stellar defensive performance folks - John Calipari’s bunch was able to hold Vanderbilt to their second lowest point total on the season and almost 30 points lower than their conference average. That is 4 straight games playing defense and rebounding at an elite level and it has translated to 4 straight wins. In the last two weeks the Wildcats have gone from fringe top 100 in defensive efficiency to back in the top 60.
