We have retired #NFL Line Judge #56 Ron Baynes in the UNOFFICIAL Lounge.  Baynes was an SEC and NFL official for 26 years and worked two Super Bowls (XXIX and XXXIII). He has been Supervisor of NFL Officials, USFL, and XFL. He was the 2011 winner of the Art McNally Award.  He was a former high school football and baseball coach that crossed over to the dark side officiating.  He played college at Auburn University where he was a three-year starter on the football team (1962-1965) and a two-year starter on the baseball team (1963 & 1964). He was Second Team All-SEC as a defensive end.   The 2013  Alabama Sports Hall of Fame Inductee.
