Ultimate Vibe Audio Music Productions

Hello and welcome back to what will be the last Podcast episode of this year 2025 of The Ultimate Vibe Audio Music Productions. Has the year gone by fast or what !! Was'nt a bad year for me personally health wise anyways ,i just hope that 2026 will be without any health issues touch wood .But there were some great Musicians that passed away this year ,Anthony Jackson a Brilliant Bassist ,Steve Cropper of Booker T & The MGs ,Booker T Jones is the only surviving member left from the MGs plus,Jimi Cliff who were just a few of them that had left us this year. But on a good note i recently watched The Beatles Anthology on the Disney Channel. It was really good .I have to say that i have a new found respect for Ringo Starr,i was watching those old footage clips of them performing and he was tight ,solid, locking it down .And the dudes still playing in his 80's with his allstar band so i have to give him props. I also just recently watched the latest Spike Lee Joint called "Highest 2 Lowest .I'v been waiting to watch this for a while. I'm a big Spike Lee Fan "Mo Better Blues" being one of my favorites ,but this newest one was pretty good .I have to say that i'm not a fan of Rappers or Rap ,so the Rapper portrayed in this movie even though it was acting he did rub me the wrong way with his language and his all out ignorance when he opened his mouth. But it was a good movie with the right ending in my books.

Hello and welcome again to the latest Podcast episode of The Ultimate Vibe Audio Music Productions. I just recently got back from the music store getting 2 of my Bass Guitars fixed a Yamaha TRB 6 String ,and a Stingray 5 String . Had an issue with the connection on them both .The funny thing is that they both gave out on me at the same time which was a real pisser. But it really felt good getting both my babies back and playing them again .Man i just love being a Musician. Have to take one of my Keyboards to get fixed as well but i'm holding of on that for a bit . Thats the good news ,but on a sad note i recently read that Steve Cropper of Booker T & The MGs recently passed as well as Phil Upchurch Session Guitarist .I even heard that Jimmy Cliff recently passed .It sucks when Musicians that one admires pass on .It was bad enough when Chic Corea and George Duke Passed on. Enough talk about death though after hearing this podcast and that you feel you like the music you hear , then visit the websites by going to http://payhip.com/ultimatevibeaudiomusicproductions

Hello and welcome to the latest Podcast Episode during the last month of the year .Got a few announcements to make .The Studio has just released another single during the christmas season .The title is "Lock Up Your Daughter" and its featured on the Podcast. Its a novelty tune but its basically about an over protective father over his daughter and he feels that he has to take desperate measures so that his daughter does'nt end up with the wrong crowd or pregnant. I'm pretty sure alot of fathers have that deep seated fear in the back of their minds .I'm pretty sure that if i had a daughter or daughters i'd probably be over protective especially when it came to the boyfriends stage. But if you like the track you can purchase a download by going to https://seriousnubian.bandcamp.com/track/lock-up-mi-daughter http://payhip.com/ultimatevibeaudiomusicproductions

Hello and welcome back to yet another Podcast Episode of The Ultimate Vibe Audio Music Productions. We have more Original Music and even more Cutting Edge Grooves. Well the winter season is upon us with all that bloody snow over the weekend but enough talk about winter ,i'v been reading a book about B B King titled King Of The Blues (The Rise And Reign Of B B King ) .Any self respecting Musician would know about B B King great Blues Guitarist and one hell of a singing voice. He grew up hard and tough in Mississippi ,he married his first wife when he was eighteen ,nighteen years old ,his wife back then was only fourteen for christ sakes, but also the book mentions his influences . Guys like Charlie Christian who was more Jazz than Blues and also other guys like Robert Johnson and Charlie Patton who came out of the Mississippi Delta .My point is that these guys died pretty young. Charlie Christian for starters he died age 25 from tuberculosis thats practically a kid . It also mentions blues singers like Ma Rainey & Bessie Smith . These artist not only performed the Blues as an art form but they lived the Blues it was a way of life .Its a really good book i'm about halfway through.

Finally on a somber note ,

I would like to express my condolences to the recent passing of one of my Bass Guitar idols

Anthony Jackson .Bit of a shock really something you don't expect .But i have to say that he was a big inspiration to me in my teen years when i was still fumbling about trying to learn stuff .I bought my first 6 String Bass Guitar because of him, he invented the 6 String Bass .I understood his concept for more range on the neck more notes more expression.4 Strings just was'nt enough.I first heard his playing on Al Di Meolas album Elegant Gypsy from 1977 .I looked on the album credits to find out who the Bass Player was ,i saw Jackson on the credits and immediately assumed that it was Paul Jackson from The HeadHunters ,Herbie Hancock but then i realized that it was a different dude all together just because of the playing and style of playing, phrasing etc .And thats when i got into him and started to learn some of his Bass lines.I was also listening to Stanley Clarke as well at the time. A great time to discover Musicians. But i always had a great admiration for Anthony Jackson
