This week it’s umbrellas.

Tax fans will be disappointed to hear that we’re talking about the object that keeps you dry as opposed to navigating the complexities of IR35 HMRC legislation.

That said - and spoiler alert - traditional umbrellas are not popular in 2G1C Towers and get the kicking they deserve. And what does the future hold for umbrellas? Well, Joe gives us a bleak view of what awaits us as a civilisation which we should all hope is wrong. 

But probably won’t be. 

We finish off with our top five Simpsons characters and there are some big hitters in there, so unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last 35 years you should be able to keep up. 

And if you are an under-a-rock-dweller then you’ve had a decent head start on the rest of us if Joe’s grim prediction for humankind in anything to go by…
