On  Episode 19 of Un-Loc'd I sat with Isaac James, a lawyer of Dominican decent, who shares a story about what it's like to be pushed to drive for success as it is measured by immigrant parents in the UK.

On Episode 18,  I sat with fellow podcaster, Maella Kancel to explore the phases of identity formation that those of us who are separated from our homelands go through. In this episode we process access to culture via proximity and emotional connection, and the ways in which our lives lead us deeper into self identifying with our Caribbean heritage as we matured in age.

On Episode 17 of Un-Loc'd I sat with Christopher Williams, a Jamaican man who suddenly had to take on the responsibility of raising his nephews during the onset of the pandemic.

There are subjects we simply don't talk enough about in Caribbean households. The struggling mother/daughter relationship that plagues our family systems is one of them.

On Episode 15, I sat with Dora James, a Red Cross Organizer responsible for helping to evacuate the red zone prior to the explosive volcanic eruptions that took place in St Vincent & the Grenadines in 2021. Here she explores the responsibility of being of service to her community, the communication skills it takes to convince people to leave their homes behind, and provided some education about preparation for natural disasters.
