On November 19th, Philadelphia Student Union and Youth United for Change brought out a group of students to take part in a feedback session about the renaissance schools process, held by the School District. The renaissance schools are part of the School District's plan, Imagine 2014. Under this plan, several under-performing schools will be placed under new management; these schools will be called 'Renaissance Schools' and they could be handed over to outside managers, such as Charter Management and Education Management Organizations.
