We are diving head first into fear this week. Why do we fear, what is a healthy fear, and what can we do to move through fear? It's such a huge topic that we are barely scratching the surface on.
Self care can look like a lot of things. Sometimes its the cliche bubble bath and candles, and sometimes its the McDonalds drive thru for comfort fries. The important thing is allowing your self the space for multiple forms of self care. It is not a one size fits all, or even a one size fits YOU situation. Self care takes on many different forms, and this week, Dayna and Jessica are discussing what self care looks like.
Understanding and accepting duality! It's a great way to replace "this or that" thinking and replace it with "this AND that" thinking. Oftentimes we are holding space for contradictory feelings at the same time. For example, a child graduating high school. A parent can feel elated, AND sad at the same time. This is duality. Join us for the conversation!
Sometimes you grow through something and have an epiphany. This week, our epiphany was all about being mindfully present. Why is being present so hard? What can we do to be more present in our everyday actions? And why is it so important to be mindfully present? Dayna and Jess dig into it all on this weeks episode. We're UnBadding (Mindfully Present), Baby!
We have a special guest on this week! Cynthia Clark (RiseWithCynthia.com and Sovereign AF) is here to talk all about (or at least scratch the service on) hypnotherapy and visualization. Cynthia has worked with athletes, dancers, business owners, and more to help them breakthrough whatever is holding them back so they can reach their full potential and highest confidence levels to achieve their dreams.
We can be SO judgy of other peoples relationships that might be considered "unconventional" or "abnormal". This week, Dayna and Jess hear from listeners about different things that may not be for everyone, but work for them in their relationship. Separate sleeping arrangements, bank accounts, living space, and toilets! Who knows, it may be the secret to a long lasting marriage! We're UnBadding ("Abnormal" Relationships), Baby!
The world is throwing around sexy buzzwords lately so we figured it’s about time we talk about one of them. This week, we are learning all about the shadow with Adrienne Abeyta (Soul Sessions). We learn what the shadow is, why it's important, what it teaches us, and how we can use shadow work in our lives. Adrienne Abeyta is an astrologer and shadow work facilitator. You can find everything Adrienne at AdrienneAbeyta.com or her instagram @adriennesoulsessions.
As much as we hate to admit it, there are times that we catch ourselves being judgmental... and that's a completely natural human experience. But WHY are we judgmental? And what steps can we take to interrupt being Judge-y? Dayna and Jess get into all of that on this weeks episode of UnBadding!
It's all about shifting perspective on this weeks UnBadding Podcast. Dayna and Jess talk about why people have different perspectives, how it effects us, and different ways to shift it when you're feeling stuck. We're UnBadding (Perspective), Baby!
Things get silly this week on UnBadding. We are talking goals, intentions, and resolutions! All while enjoying a non alcoholic tonic (Hiyo) for Dry January. What do they put in these things?! We are picking our words to bring into the new year with us. What is your word for 2024?!
